On October 11th, 2o11 an election will be held to determine the 2012-2014 Board of Governors for the Devonshire Pointe Homeowner’s Association. There are 9 seats available. Once elected, the new Board will determine its officers which include President, President-Elect, Secretary, and Treasurer. Other Board of Governors members will be assigned to various committees and have other responsibilities.
The Board of Governors serves two primary functions: Maintaining our common areas and enforcing our Covenant Codes and Restrictions so that our neighborhood remains a good place to live and so that our property values remain high.
I would like to personally thank all of those who have stepped up to take on this responsibility. I would also like to thank all of you in advance who will take the time to vote, whether in person or by mail.
Finally, as your outgoing President, I wish to thank you all for the opportunity to serve you these past few years. I’ve grown as a result and wish you much happiness and success as we continue to live together as good neighbors.
