The meeting convened at 7:00 P.M. at the home of Heinz Mantel. Kevin Cullen, Bob Hogarth, Erik Lundry, Heinz Mantel, David Riley, Jim Sweeney, Carl Pascarella for Carole Pascarella and Deni Worthen were in attendance. The following items were discussed:
- Treasure Report: Heinz Mantel presented the Treasurer Report in place of Marius Gavrila who was away on business. Our total assets are $60,499.71, year to date expenses are 20,030.06. Unpaid dues total $2,534.00.
- Maintenance and Landscaping: Fall cleanup of the public areas is to completed this week to include trimming of shrubs at the entry gates. Our lawn service will be removing the annuals within the month. 9 new trees replacement trees to be planted this month along Adams road. The board will be addressing the need to replace the entrance sign lights next spring. No soliciting signs will be posted at all entrances by Jim Sweeney.
- Social: Christmas Wreaths will be put up at each entrance during the Thanksgiving week. They will be removed around the 15th January 2016.
- Communications: We have email addresses for 98 of the homes in the sub-division. This is our primary way of communicating with the residents. One home owner requested communication by letter.
- Covenants: The committee surveyed the whole sub-division on 10/21/2015. They found only 2 post lights not lighted.
- Miscellaneous:
- Our annual meeting is set for Monday January 18. 2016 at 6:00 P.M. The meeting will be held at the library. This is an open meeting for all home owners.
- Lauren Plennert would like to be involved with the association. The board agreed include Lauren with the Social committee. Possibly visiting new residents to welcome them to the sub-division. She will also be asked to assist Carole and Deni with social events. Bob will follow up with Lauren.
- Bob Hogarth to prepare a welcome letter to be given to all new residents.
- Welcome signs at the entrances to Devonshire were discussed and tabled until next spring.
