  1. Treasure Report: Marius Gavrila presented the Treasurer Report. Our total assets are $54,732.19, 2015 to date expenses are $26,039.34. Unpaid dues total $2,325.00. The unpaid dues are connected with a resident that is being foreclosed on. Any collectable money will be distributed upon closure of the foreclosure. Two capital projects budgeted for 2016. (1) Entrance flood light replacement, (2) Phoslock treatment of the lake. 2016 dues will be the same as 2015. Dues invoices will be mailed out in February of 2016.
  2. Maintenance and Landscaping: 9 new evergreens were planted in 2015, 4 dead or diseased trees were removed. The lights on the West entrance were damaged as the result of an automobile accident. These lights should be repaired in the spring, completely paid for by the driver’s insurance. Bids are due for mowing, trimming, fertilizing, sprinkler maintenance and lake treatments for 2016.
  3. Social: We had good participation for the 2015 Easter Egg Hunt and the 4th of July Parade. The annual garage sale had very poor participation. The board decided to move the 2016 garage sale to April 14 – 16 for the 2016 year. The Easter Egg Hunt and the 4th of July Parade will be held the Saturday prior to Easter and on 4th of July respectively.
  4. Communications: Bob Hogarth will mail post card reminders out for the Easter Egg Hunt and the 4th of July Parade about 10 days prior to the events. The events will also be posted on our web site and via email to the registered residents. The results of the email survey as to whether we should put weather proof message boards at each entrance was 26 not and 9 yes. The board decided not to purchase new signs as a result of the survey. A draft of a welcome letter was submitted by Bob Hogarth. Lauren Plennert who volunteered to visit new residents to present our welcome letter and collect email and phone contact information. She will also provide general information on our community. Lauren has been invited to attend all of our quarterly board meetings.
  5. Covenants: The committee reported that we have very few post lights not being maintained. We will add a note to the dues invoice reminding people to keep their lights burning. The owners of the 2 vacant lots are doing a very good job on keeping their property clean and the grass mowed.
  6. Architectural Control Committee: We had several requests for fences and one pool request approved. A reminder to get approval prior to any projects prior to starting will be attached to the annual dues invoice.
