Devonshire Pointe Homeowner’s Association Quarterly Board Meeting

The Quarterly board meeting convened at 7:00 P.M. at the Old National Bank located at Heritage Square. Board members Bob Hogarth, Erik Lundry, Heinz Mantel, David Riley, Jim Sweeney, Carl Pascarella (in place of Carole), Marius Gavrila, Kevin Cullen and Lauren Plennert were present.

 

1.      Treasure Report: Marius Gavrila presented the Treasurer Report.

a.       Total assets $72,461.51

b.      Total dues past due $2,580.00 (only one resident on home that is in foreclosure)

c.       Total Expenses for 2016 $16,653.93

 

2.      Maintenance and Landscaping: Lake is in best condition for many years, lawn care and irrigation system in good condition. Excavation for continuation of Granger Path to start in the spring.

 

3.      Social: Christmas decorations will be put up over the Thanksgiving weekend. The banners installed on the entrance walls will come down at the same time.

The Tobias home is a total loss as a result of the fire. We will be accepting gift cards for the family until Thanksgiving at which time we will give them to the family. An email will be sent to all residents concerning this opportunity. We will also post it on our website and Facebook page. Gift cards to be sent to our P.O. Box.

Our Facebook group has 35 members. Only verified residents of Devonshire are given membership to the group.

 

4.      Communications: Email will be sent to all residents to be sure and update their contact information on our Website to include primary and secondary contact number in case of emergency.

Letters were sent to 9 homes that did not have post lights working. One homeowner has not had a light working for over a year. Bob will send another letter to this resident as well as making a personal visit to explain requirement as outlined in the covenants and follow-up with a letter.

Letters were sent again to the owners of the two vacant lots to mow the grass and keep the debris picked up. Both responded by mowing the grass. Bob to visit the owner of one lot to explain the need to keep the grass mowed and the clipping off the street and follow-up with a letter.

 

5.      Covenants: No issues concerning Covenants

 

6.      Miscellaneous: We have scheduled our annual meeting for Monday January 16, 2017. We are checking the Library and Beef O’Bradys for accommodations.

Quarterly board meetings to be held at Old National Bank on April 17th, July 17th and October 16th.
