Sussex Point has had a rash of vandalism. Please call the County Police (574-235-9611) if you know anything about issues in Sussex Point or other neighborhoods. Sussex Point neighbors are getting very frustrated and need a break catching the vandals.
Subject: Vandalism
Just wanted to let you know someone drove through our yard tonight (Saturday night) and broke our mailbox. Around 10:30 someone honked for about 30 seconds, then we heard a large bang and heard a car speed off. Our mailbox was about halfway down our yard and there were tire tracks through the yard. We’re not sure if it’s related but earlier tonight someone wrote on Dan’s car window with window paint as well.
We made a police report but unfortunately didn’t see anything.
Please pass it along, hopefully it won’t happen to anyone else in the neighborhood.
