4th of July Parade
The 4th of July parade was a success. The weather was wonderful, the kids were excited and the parents were supportive of the event. Karen Mantel read the 4th of July story to the children and flags were passed out. We had in excess of 100 neighbors at the parade with others along the parade route. When the parade returned to the cul-de-sac we had water and ice cream cups for everyone. A special thank you to the Clay Fire Department for providing the ladder truck to lead the parade and for allowing the kids to explore the truck…it was a hit for the kids especially when the ladder was raised. Thanks to the Social Committee and volunteers for making this event possible.
New Board Secretary
Thanks to Bob Hogarth who has graciously volunteered to serve as the association secretary until the next board election. Thank you Laura Baker for your 1 ½ year service.

Some key points for our residents to keep in mind:
- Covenants – All residents are responsible to comply with the covenants. If you are planning a project around your home such as fencing, pools, room additions, covered patios, play sets, hardscape, you will need to submit your plan to the Architectural Control Committee for approval prior to starting the project. Please allow at least 2 weeks for a reply.
- Post Lights– please insure that your post/yard light is operating from dusk to dawn. It is a requirement of the covenants. By keeping your lights lit you will contribute to the aesthetics and safety of the neighborhood.
- Grass Clippings– please do not leave your grass clippings in the curb or driveway after you cut. All the drains wash the clippings into the lake where they decompose. We have spent $9000 to help mitigate what the grass clippings have done to the lake.
