A resident of Fox Chase had a teenage daughter approached and followed by a white commercial type van with 3 males in the van.

About 8pm tonight (5/5/15) a teenage girl walking in Fox Chase Subdivision was approached by a white commercial type van occupied by 3 males (smoking cigarettes). The men asked her to come to the van and get in the van. She refused and began cutting through backyards to get away from them, they continued to follow her. She eventually lost sight of the van. She told her parents, who called immediately call the St. Joseph County Police. She was unable to get a license plate. The police officer taking the report told the teenager to first call 911 then call her parents if this ever happens again. The County Police told the family they would increase patrols in the area for the next few days.
Please keep your eyes open for ANY strange vehicles or unusual activity in your neighborhood. We need to be the extra set of eyes for the police. Be aware of details such as make, model, license plate, color of car, description of suspicious individuals.
